Evaluation all too often feels like a chore to complete at the end of a project; a necessity to convince our funders they were right to trust us to deliver. We send out an evaluation form, receive a handful back and share a few quotes in the hope that this will be enough.
But what if we start to think of evaluation in a different way? What if evaluation becomes embedded in the work we do, is creative and engaging? What if it becomes a means to build relationships with the very communities you are trying to engage? What if by planning our evaluation in a different way we can start to tell the story of our long-term impact and social value with the communities we work with?
This webinar will challenge you to think differently about evaluation. It will:
- look at strategies for planning an evaluation that extends beyond the current project, or even the next couple of years, to help us understand and celebrate our long-term impact.
- explore ways of getting communities involved, and even taking ownership, of the evaluation process so the experience becomes meaningful and the findings are authentic.
- explore way in which creative case studies can tell powerful stories about the impact your work has had on individuals.
