According to Department for Education data, the number of children in elective home education in England is 150,000 and growing. This webinar will explore how libraries can support the changing education landscape in the UK.

Nicky McIntosh will share insights from recent research with these audiences, how they can benefit from libraries and how libraries can be most effective and welcoming. Nicky is a Museum Consultant and author of Group for Education in Museums new toolkit Supporting Museums to Engage Children Educated Outside of School.

Nicky will draw on her lived experience of barriers to school attendance as a parent, as well as her professional practice as a curator, learning manager and consultant.
