Juliana Gaertner was the British Library’s 2023 Environmentalist in Residence. She has worked with communities, researchers, non-profits, and governments around the world to address climate change. She previously worked for international NGO Global Witness and advised the directors of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research. She is now a Senior Strategist at ARIA. She holds an MPhil in Environmental Policy from the University of Oxford.
