Want to bring TikTok to your library but don’t know where to start? Looking to do something new with your Instagram Reels? Or are you a short-form video novice looking to learn some new skills?

Short-form videos are usually under 60 seconds long (and can run up to 3 minutes) with bite-sized, entertaining content and typically viewed on mobile devices. Short-form video content has quickly become one of the most popular forms of social media content and is opening new opportunities for content creators.

Join us for an informative and practical session for libraries wanting to begin creating engaging short-form video content or looking to improve their existing offer. We’ll explore the basics of how to get started, with practical tools for those with limited resources and highlighting examples from the libraries sector who have successfully built a presence on platforms like TikTok.

The session is led by digital consultancy Reason Digital who specialise in providing digital training and services to the charity and non-profit sectors.
